A 31-year-old man has been arrested for the homicide of his 33-year-old female cousin on Feb. 8.
The Baltimore Police Department reported the arrest of Demetrick Lewis six days after the incident occurred around 2:42 p.m. on the 700 block of North Curley Street.
Officers were called to the scene, where they found the victim with an assault injury to the head after being pushed down a flight of stairs.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with trauma to the head, where she died two days later.
Following his arrest, detectives took Lewis to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with first-degree murder.
