29-Year-Old Man Arrested for Attempted Murder of Braddish Ave.

A 29-year-old Baltimore man was arrested earlier this month in connection to an attempted murder in November.

The Baltimore Police Department reported that Travis Johnson was arrested by Warrant Apprehension detectives on Dec. 2 around 7:10 p.m.

According to a prior report, police said officers were called to the 2100 block of Braddish Avenue around 1 p.m. on Nov. 18 for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found a 29-year-old man with gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment and released the following day.

During their investigation, detectives interviewed potential witnesses and identified Johnson as the shooter.

Johnson is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, having a loaded handgun on his person, and having a handgun on his person. He has been denied bail and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Jan. 5, 2022, in Baltimore City District Court.
