A 25-year-old man was arrested in connection to the murder of 21-year-old Amir Whyee on Dec. 1.
The Baltimore Police Department arrested and charged Dorrell Jackson with first-degree murder, a news release states. According to the Maryland Judiciary website, Jackson previously faced drug and weapons charges in 2014 and 2015.
Earlier this month, police were called around 2:30 p.m. to the 500 block of Random Road and found Whyee, who was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Police said Jackson is currently being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility.
