The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the early morning on May 23.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 4600 block of Northwood Drive around 3:55 a.m. for reports of a man laying in the street, where they found 22-year-old Davon Silver Nelson unresponsive suffering from trauma to the head.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.
