A 20-year-old Baltimore man charged with the execution-style murder of a 26-year-old man was offered a plea during reception court on Sept. 15 at Baltimore City Circuit Court.
Singelton Duppins is charged with first-degree murder, firearm use in a violent crime, possession of a firearm as a minor, as well as second-degree assault in an incident on Feb. 28, 2020. He was 19 years old at the time of the incident.
Duppins did not appear for the reception court hearing but was represented by defense attorney Landon White.
Prosecution presented a plea of life, suspending all but 50 years, and five years probation for first-degree murder, and a concurrent 20 years for firearm use in a violent crime.
Duppins’ next court appearance will be in mental health court on Oct. 6.
