The Baltimore City Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the afternoon on Feb. 27.
According to a news release, at 1:13 p.m., patrol officers were patrolling the area of North Potomac, when the officers heard several gunshots coming from the 1300 block of North Potomac, where they found a 16-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot to the left thigh.
The medics took the victim to the hospital, with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers were able to take two juvenile persons of interest into custody after a brief foot chase and a firearm was recovered.
