On Feb. 26, at approximately 8:41 p.m., Southwest District officers were dispatched to the unit block of N. Bruce Street in reference to a shooting.
Officers responded to the location and observed Cameron Kelly, 16, suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported Kelly to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by medical professionals.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
