Woman Pronounced Dead on East Preston Street

On May 9, at approximately 7:05 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to a home on the 2100 block of East Preston Street for a report of an unresponsive female.

Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located 40-year-old Janelle Desormeaux unresponsive, suffering from trauma to the body.

Medics arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim dead at the location.

The victim’s body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office where an exact cause of death will be determined.
