Victim of Front Street Stabbing Dies Eight Days Later

In regard to a stabbing that occurred in the Central District, Baltimore Police Department officers have arrested, a repeat violent offender, 41-year-old Fielding Bame.

Investigators learned that Bame stabbed 48-year-old Dondre Quickley in the chest on July 12, while on the 100 block of North Front Street.

On July 13, detectives located Fielding Bame, sitting on the 100 block of North Front Street, the same location of the assault the previous day. Bame was arrested without incident and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Quickley died from his injuries on July 20.
