The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening of Aug. 26.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 5300 block of Eastbury Avenue around 9:46 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where an unknown woman was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
Once medics arrived, they pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Homicide detectives were summoned and have assumed control of the investigation.
