Three Homicide Defendants Await Seven Day Trial

Facing charges of first-degree murder, a trial date for three co-defendants was set to occur at the end of February, two years after the homicide.

According to WMAR Baltimore, 18 year-old Kamar Robinson was arrested for the murder of 33-year-old Antonio Lamont Jackson who was pronounced dead on the scene in the 800 block of North Bradford Street on July 22, 2019. Darian Adams and Raquan Baylor are also charged with this murder.

Kamar Robinson, Darian Adams, and Raquan Baylor are charged with first-degree murder, carrying or wearing a handgun on thier person and having a handgun in the vehicle. 

During the Aug. 25 hearing, Robinson and Baylor were offered a plea of life for the murder charge with 20 years for having a handgun during a violent offense to run concurrently. Darian Adams was offered a plea of life for the murder charge with 20 years for having a handgun during a violent offense to run concurrently. His sentence would have also included the possibility of parole. All three defendants rejected their pleas. 

Judge Melissa Phinn presided over this case. 

The trial date for the defendants is set for Feb. 28, 2022. The trial is expected to last until March 8, 2022.
