Three men accused of murdering 19-year-old Cameran Holt on Oct. 27, 2024 are set to appear before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Yolanda A. Tanner on May 29 in an effort to join their cases.

Alexis Cancel-Soto, 20, Daeshaun Clark, 28, and Devontaye Richardson, 25, are represented by defense attorneys Marci T. Johnson, Jerry Rodriguez, and Daniel P. Mooney, respectively.

The defendants are accused of murdering Holt and shooting a man in the torso in a parking lot at the unit block of W. Hamburg Street.

They face similar charges, including first-degree murder, reckless endangerment, firearm use in a felony or violent crime, first-degree assault, and attempted second-degree murder.

Charging documents state the trio opened fire after a verbal dispute between Richardson and a male victim escalated.

Holt, who had no involvement in the altercation, sustained a gunshot wound to the back of her neck. She was inside her silver Chrysler, which was struck from behind by gunfire during the shootout.

Holt was pronounced dead on Nov. 7, 2024 after succumbing to her injuries.
