ShotSpotter Leads Police to Lafayette Avenue Fatal Shooting Victim

On April 2, at approximately 1:07 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 2300 block of Lafayette Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert. 

Upon arrival, officers located 22-year-old Marvin Washington, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, and despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased a short time later by hospital staff.
