The anticipated Nov. 3 sentencing of a murder defendant before City Circuit Court Judge Jennifer B. Schiffer didn’t take place.
Aaron Micheal Clubb, 34, was charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first- degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, firearm use in a felony-violent crime, and illegal possession of a regulated firearm in relation to the murder of Jaquan Johnson, 22, back in July 2019.
He was found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and illegal possession of a regulated firearm in May 2023.
Originally, Clubb was slated to go before Judge Schiffer Friday, however, for unknown reasons the sentencing was postponed until Dec. 5.
According to documents from the District Court of Maryland, on July 15, 2019, officers responded to the 200 block of North Linwood Avenue, where they found Jaquan Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to John Hopkins Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Clubb was also identified as a victim in the case as well, since he was found on the 2900 block of East Fayette Street with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Later he was identified as a homicide suspect in what appeared to be a drug deal gone wrong.
