Police Respond to Southern District Double Shooting

On June 27, 2024, at around 5:17 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers were patrolling in the area of South Hanover Street and East Patapsco Avenue when they discovered a 19-year-old female suffering from numerous gunshot wounds on the 100 block of Pontiac Street. Upon canvassing the immediate area, officers discovered a 22-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound near the intersection of South Hanover Street and Pontiac Street. Medics transported both victims to an area hospital, where they both were listed in stable condition. 

Southern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
