On May 3, Micah Comegys, 6, was fatally shot inside a home in the 800 block of Vine Street.
Investigators are currently reviewing preliminary forensic evidence and investigating the incident as a questionable death.
The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) declared its “commitment to a thorough and objective investigative process” while awaiting autopsy results and additional forensic evidence.
“Our detectives continue to work diligently to determine the full circumstances surrounding this incident,” said a BPD press release from May 9. “We continue to encourage anyone with information to contact Homicide Detectives at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LockUp.”
