The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) identified 29-year-old Travon Benson as the victim of a fatal shooting.
On Dec. 14 at approximately 8:11 p.m., Southwest District officers responded to the 200 block of N. Payson Street following a ShotSpotter alert.
Officers arrived on the scene and found Benson suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced him deceased on the scene.
Homicide detectives continue to investigate.
