On July 19, Baltimore Police Department detectives arrested 28-year-old Tyrone Blackwell of Baltimore.
Detectives believe that Blackwell fatally stabbed 33-year-old Devin Butler on July 5, on the 2400 block of West Lafayette Avenue.
Detectives transported Blackwell to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder and additional charges.

On July 5, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of West Lafayette Avenue to investigate a reported cutting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 33-year-old male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper body. Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
