Officers Open Investigation into Shooting of 17-Year-Old on Elmora Avenue

On May 24, at approximately 6:31 p.m., officers responded to the 3600 block of Elmora Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 17-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his left hand. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injury.

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
