Officers Investigate E. Mulberry Street Homicide

On Sept. 23, at approximately 11:01 p.m., Central District officers were dispatched to the 100 block of E. Mulberry Street for a shooting.

Upon arrival, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 21-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, Jalen Wise, was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced decreased.

A short time later, a 22-year-old male walked in a local hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Detectives have learned that both victims were shot in the 100 block of E. Mulberry Street.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
