Officers Arrest and Charge Woman in Baker Street Non-Fatal Shooting

On March 22, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Southwest District detectives and officers with the Baltimore police Department (BPD) arrested 32-year-old Brenita Stepter of Baltimore on the 1400 block of Crain Highway.

Investigators believe that on March 11, Stepter physically assaulted and shot at a 36-year-old female in the 3100 block of Baker Street.

Southwest District detectives transported Stepter to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where she was charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and numerous handgun violations.
