A 34-year-old attempted homicide defendant received a March 2024 trial date on Dec. 11 as the prosecution had no plea offer.
Andrew Lindsey and his defense attorney, Jason Silverstein, appeared in Baltimore City Circuit Court before Judge Melissa M. Phinn’s reception court on Monday when the prosecution informed the court there was no plea offer. Counsel then agreed on a two-day trial beginning March 11, 2024, before Judge Philip S. Jackson.
The defendant is currently charged with two counts of attempted first and second-degree murder and first-degree assault as well as single counts of firearm use in a felony or violent crime, having a handgun on his person, having a handgun in a vehicle, discharging a firearm in Baltimore City and committing a racial and/or religious crime against a person and/or group.
