On Dec. 7, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Gale Rasin postponed a hearing for an attempted murder defendant, citing “issues related to COVID-19” to explain why the defendant had yet to be admitted into a hospital.

Ahmad Moulden is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, use of a firearm use in a felony violent crime, first and second-degree assault, having a loaded handgun on his person, having wearing or carrying a handgun on his person, and discharging firearms in connection with a crime perpetrated on July 10.

Judge Rasin ordered a 30-day extension and scheduled all parties to reconvene on Jan. 11, 2023.

Moulden, 34, is represented by attorney Granville Templeton.

According to the Maryland Judiciary website, in 2004, Moulden was remanded to juvenile court for attempted first-degree murder, in addition to an assortment of assault and weapons charges in connection to an incident that occurred on Nov. 6, 2003, when the defendant was 17 years old.
