McElderry Street Shooting Investigation Begins

On Nov. 30, at approximately 11:01 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 2900 block of McElderry Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 43-year-old  male victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Southeast District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southeast District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2422.
