On Sept. 21, at approximately 3:31 p.m., Northern District officers were dispatched to the 4600 block of York Road for a call of a reported shooting.
Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and are investigation this incident. Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, Homicide Detectives have also been notified. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives, at 410-396-2100.

Update: The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Ryan Cain. He died on Sept. 22. Another victim, a 42-year-old male, sought treatment for a gunshot wound stemming from the same incident on Sept. 22.
