Male Victim in his Late 20s Found Shot in Leg

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the afternoon of Sept. 17. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road around 3:45 p.m. for reports of shots being fired. A short time later, officers responded to a local hospital and saw a 29 year-old male being treated by medical personnel, suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Southern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road by an unidentified suspect.
