Judge Denies Bail for Attempted Murder Defendant Citing Safety Concerns

Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Martin Schreiber II denied bail for an 18-year-old attempted murder defendant on Feb. 4, stating that his release would pose a danger to the public.

Corey Little was charged with first-degree attempted murder in connection to an incident that occurred on June 15, 2024.

The prosecution alleged Little was one of three individuals who approached the victim’s vehicle, asked for change and proceeded to open fire.

A law enforcement officer familiar with Little identified him among the three suspects in footage captured by a Ring home security camera. At the time of the incident, Little was on home detention for a robbery charge.

Little’s defense attorney argued that Little has an electronic alibi that places him at home, and that the masked individual in the video cannot be definitively identified as Little.

Nonetheless, Judge Geller upheld the officer’s identification and denied bail.

Little will have a transfer hearing on Feb 18.
