Judge Acquits Murder Defendant of All Charges

Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Cynthia H. Jones reached a verdict for a 30-year-old murder defendant on Nov. 19.

Davon Parker was charged with attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, attempted voluntary manslaughter, first-degree assault, firearm use in a felony or violent crime, firearm possession with a felony conviction, ammunition possession with a felony conviction, and discharging a firearm in Baltimore City.

Parker, 30, was indicted on April 23, 2024 for allegedly attempting to rob a man. Parker, who was represented by defense attorney Jason Rodriguez, said he acted out of self-defense.. 

After the jury deliberated, Parker was found not guilty on all charges.
