A 20-year-old attempted murder defendant received a trial date in Baltimore City Circuit Court June 4.
Keondre Harris is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, armed robbery, robbery, firearm use in a felony violent crime, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, accessory after the fact, having a handgun in a vehicle and carrying a handgun within 100 yards of the public in connection to a Jan. 18 incident.
The stand-in prosecutor did not have a plea offer to relay to Harris, but said negotiations were ongoing.
Defense attorney John Cox told his client he received the evidence in this case last month while he was on leave and is now reviewing the information.
Judge Dana M. Middleton scheduled Harris’ three-day trial to begin on Aug. 28 before Judge Lawrence R. Daniels.
According to a Baltimore Police Department press release, Harris was arrested on Jan. 25 for a shooting on the 200 block of North Conkling Street, which injured a 22-year-old man.
