The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating fatal shooting that occurred on Feb. 10.
On Friday, at approximately 8:58 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 4100 block of Eierman Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located 44-year-old Melvin Cummings suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead on Feb. 10.
