The trial of a 27-year-old woman facing two counts of first-degree murder was postponed on Feb. 17, with plans to return to reception court in May.
During Friday’s proceedings, Lexus Hart and her defense attorney, Roland Harris, appeared before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn when counsel requested a postponement. The reasons behind the postponement were not discussed; however, counsel asked to return to reception court on May 15.
Judge Phinn granted counsels’ request.
Hart is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and use of a firearm in regards to an incident on Jan. 30, 2022.
