A Baltimore man from Hamilton Hills will be tried for the murder of 22-year-old Joshua Whittington this May following a hearing in Baltimore City Circuit Court on Dec. 6
On April 2, the Baltimore Police Department were called to the 1300 block of W. Baltimore Street, where they found Whittington with gunshot wounds. The victim died five days later.
Police later identified Tavon Green as the suspected shooter.
No plea offer was discussed during Tuesday’s proceedings; however, Judge Melissa Phinn scheduled Green’s trial for May 30, 2023, before Judge Jennifer Schiffer.
Green is represented by Maureen O’Leary.
