Firearm Possession Case Postponed

Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lynn S. Mays postponed the trial of  a 59-year-old defendant on Feb. 3.

David Colyns is charged with two counts each of firearm possession as a prohibited person, possessing a firearm in connection with controlled dangerous substances, illegal possession of ammunition and discharging a gun.

The prosecution requested a postponement due a scheduling conflict.

Colyns’s defense attorney, Jerry Prince, had no objection to the postponement.
Judge Melissa K. Copeland set Colyns’s 2-day trial for Feb 11.
