On July 27, at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Potee Street to investigate a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located 41-year-old Jason Scott Franey suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds to his back and lower body. Medics transported the Franey to the University of Maryland Medical Center, Shock Trauma, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Homicide detectives with the Baltimore Police Department were notified and responded to assume control over this investigation.
