Defense attorney Maura Lynch spoke on behalf of her client in mental health court on Aug. 23, before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge E. Gale Raisin to request her client undergo an additional mental health evaluation.

The motion was filed on the grounds of further evaluation under the Developmental Disabilities Administration in conjunction with the facility in which the defendant is currently housed in. Since a request was made to have the defendant reassessed, the trial date was further delayed. The defendant is expected to appear in front of Judge Raisin again on Sept. 16.
