On March 21, the jury read its verdict to Marvin Edmonds before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jennifer B. Schiffer.
Edmonds, 36, alongside his defense attorney, Rodney Gray, was found guilty of attempted second-degree murder, firearm use in a felony violent crime, two counts of firearm possession with a felony conviction, discharging a firearm in Baltimore City and illegal possession of ammunition.
Edmonds was found not guilty of attempted first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, conspiracy to first-degree assault and conspiracy to firearm use in a felony violent crime, while the jury did not render verdicts for first-degree assault. The two charges of second-degree assault and conspiracy to second-degree assault were dismissed.
These charges stem to a shooting on Feb. 19, 2022, on the 1500 block of East Yeager Street.
Edmonds’ sentencing date is set for July 15.
