Defense counsel for two men accused of fatally shooting 34-year-old Tony Hedgspeth in May will return to reception court in the new year.
Jamol Kingsborough and Christian St. Rose, both age 27, were arrested earlier this year in connection to the murder on the 200 block of W. Lexington Street on May 21, and charged with two counts of first-degree murder and a single count of firearm use in a felony violent crime.
Kingsborough’s defense attorney Michael Cooper informed the court that he and St. Rose’s defense attorney, Warren Brown, have all the discovery and will return to reception court on Jan. 6, 2022.
Brown was not present during Thursday’s proceedings.
