On Aug. 31, at approximately 1:35 p.m., Southern District patrol officers heard discharging coming from the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road. A short time later, Baltimore Police Department officers received a call for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment at an area hospital.
Upon arrival at the hospital, officers spoke with the 26-year-old male victim, who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim is listed in stable condition.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was on the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road, when he was shot.
Southern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2499.
