BPD, SWAT Team Respond to Northeast District Homicide

On March 6, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 4000 block of Loch Raven Boulevard to investigate a call for a shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers observed 29-year-old Denzel Brown suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

Officers on the scene were advised that a possible suspect had entered a residence on the 4000 block of Loch Raven Boulevard.

Officers notified the SWAT team, who had responded to the scene, gaining entry into the residence, that the possible suspect had entered. They cleared the location and did not locate a suspect or additional victims.

Homicide detectives were notified and assumed control over this investigation.
