Baltimore Police Investigate Walk-In Shooting Victim in Southwest District

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating a shooting that happened in the evening of Dec. 20. 

According to a news release, officers were called to an area hospital at 9:30 p.m. for reports of a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment. On arrival officers found a 42-year-old suffering from a gunshot to the leg. 

The victim told police that he was shot at the intersection of Yale Avenue and Potter Street. 

Southwest District Shooting detectives have assumed control over the investigation.  Anyone who has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2488.
