The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening of July 25.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 4800 block of Frankford Avenue around 7:10 p.m. for a shooting, where an adult male was found suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot to the buttocks.
The victim was transported to an area hospital by Baltimore City medics.
Northeast District shooting detectives are investigating this incident.
A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was illegally riding a dirt bike in the 4600 block of White Avenue when an unknown suspect shot him. After being shot, the victim rode the dirt bike to Frankford Avenue where he called for police.
