Accidental Discharge Caused 1 of 3 C-H-M Shootings, Police Announce

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an update on a shooting case. The shooting has been ruled as accidental and removed from the non-fatal shooting count.

On April 10, at approximately 1:33 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to the 1500 block of E. 28th Street for a reported shooting investigation.

Upon arrival, officers located a 16-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.

Eastern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
