Baltimore Man Found Shot in Buttocks on Spelman Road

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred in the evening of Dec. 20. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 2800 block of Spelman Road at 6:20 p.m. for reports of shots being fired. When they arrived a a 22-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot to the buttocks. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Southern District shooting detectives have assumed control over the investigation. Anyone who has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2499.
