Altercation Led to Southeast District Shooting, BPD Says

On June 9, at approximately 3:10 a.m., Southeast District officers responded to the unit block of South Highland Avenue in the rear for a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 25-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the neck. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. The victim is listed in critical but stable condition. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had an altercation with an unidentified suspect who pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
