On May 26, at approximately 11:37 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to a home in the unit block of North Calvert Street for a report of a shooting.
Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 20-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the body.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Central District detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2411 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
Update: As of Aug. 2, 2024, this case has been ruled a justified shooting and removed from BPD’s non-fatal shooting numbers. Detectives learned the victim was shot while committing an assault and burglary.
