Northern District Driver Shot in Robbery Attempt

On May 6, at approximately 12:25 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to an area hospital for reports of a walk-in shooting victim.

The male victim advised that he had sold a relative’s vehicle to a body shop when the male suspect asked for a ride to another location. During the transport, the suspect asked the victim for his money and displayed a weapon. Following a physical altercation in the vehicle, the suspect allegedly shot the victim before exiting the vehicle.

The victim then drove himself to an area hospital for medical treatment.
