Woman Seeks Medical Treatment for Gunshot Wound Days After Injury

On March 9, at approximately 1:33 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 34-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right thigh. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that on March 5, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the victim was on the 300 block of South Monroe Street when she heard gunshots coming from an unknown direction. Shortly afterward, the victim realized she had been shot. The victim didn’t seek treatment until today.
