A reception court hearing was held on Jan. 24 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland to schedule a 38-year-old defendant’s trial.
Mahammad Williams is charged with vehicular manslaughter in connection to an incident that occurred on June 9, 2023.
The prosecutor did not have a plea offer because the victim’s wife was too “traumatized” to discuss the terms.
Williams’ defense attorneys are Todd Oppenheim and Christopher O’Meara.
Judge Copeland scheduled a motions hearing for April 15 before Judge Jeannie J. Hong, as well as a trial date of June 26 before Judge Gregory Sampson.
