Police Investigate North Monroe Street Shooting

On Dec. 6, at approximately 3:35 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the intersection of North Monroe Street and Edmondson Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 24-year-old female suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where she will receive treatment for her injuries. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 500 block of North Monroe Street.

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
