Southwest District Officers Arrest Suspect in North Edgewood Street Non-Fatal Shooting Case

On Sept. 4, members of the Southwest District Action Team with the Baltimore Police Department arrested 26-year-old Dariel Glenn of Baltimore, while on the 500 block of Edgewood Street.

Detectives believe that Glenn shot a 59-year-old male on Aug. 27 on the 500 block of North Edgewood Street.

Glenn was transported by detectives to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder and additional charges.

The day of the incident, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of North Edgewood to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 59-year-old male suffering from numerous non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
